"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
You see, I read books, watch movies and TV, and see a great character that I admire somehow. I think, "why can't I be like them?"
And then I try to be like them. I morph into a different person. I'd change my handwriting, my mood, the way I talk.
And later I'd find someone new and change again.
I've done this so often I don't know who I am anymore.
